✦ 01・WHAT IS KOIBITO?
Koibito is a special relationship status earned through Karuta's affection and proposal system.
- Koibito belongs to the character, not an individual card.
- Only one player can hold a character's Koibito position at a time.
- Becoming Koibito grants visit access to cards of that character, even if you weren't their original grabber.
◈ 02・COMPETING FOR KOIBITO
Multiple players can pursue the same character, making Koibito a competitive relationship.
- Players build their own Affection Rating (AR) with the character.
- Players compete for the Koibito position through proposals.
- Other players may challenge the current Koibito, so the position isn't necessarily permanent.
You can check the current Koibito and other players' AR and AP through the character leaderboard.

Being a character's Koibito provides additional relationship privileges.
- Visit Access: Interact with cards of that character regardless of their original grabber.
- Special Interactions: Access Koibito-related features through the visit system.
- Relationship Management: Monitor your relationship and competition through affection information and leaderboards.
Koibito status applies to the character as a whole, not just the card used to establish the relationship.
