Viewing & Managing Your Inventory
Your collection holds your cards, but your inventory holds the little treasures that help them shine!
Learn how to view your Karuta inventory, check your currencies and items, understand item codes, and keep track of your resources.
As you play Karuta, you'll gradually collect currencies, consumables, and other useful items. Knowing how to find and understand your inventory makes it much easier to manage your resources.
01 Viewing Your Inventory
Your inventory is where Karuta keeps track of the items and currencies you own.
▸ Opening your inventory:
k!inventorykiYour inventory displays your available resources, including item names, quantities, and other relevant information.
▸ What can you find in your inventory?
Depending on what you've collected, you may see:
- Currencies: Gold, Tickets, and Gems.
- Consumables: Extra Drops, Extra Grabs, and other usable items.
- Card-related items: Upgrade Orbs, Swap Orbs, and similar resources.
- Customization items: Frames, dyes, and other cosmetic items.
- Other collectibles: Additional items obtained through Karuta activities.
Your inventory and card collection are separate. Your inventory tracks resources and items, while your collection contains the character cards you own.
02 Understanding Item Quantities
Many inventory items can be owned in multiple quantities.
▸ Example:
Imagine your inventory contains:
| Item | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Extra Drop | 3 |
| Extra Grab | 2 |
| Upgrade Orb | 5 |
| Bandage | 4 |
This means you own three Extra Drops, two Extra Grabs, five Upgrade Orbs, and four Bandages.
▸ Why do quantities matter?
- Consumable items are generally removed from your inventory when used.
- Purchasing or receiving additional items increases your quantity.
- Trading items away reduces the amount you own.
- Keeping track of quantities helps you avoid running out of useful resources.
The example above is illustrative. Your actual inventory will depend on the items you've earned or purchased.
03 Understanding Your Inventory Items
Not every item in your inventory serves the same purpose. Some provide additional collecting opportunities, while others help improve or customize your cards.
▸ Common inventory items:
| Item | General Purpose |
|---|---|
| Extra Drop | Perform an additional card drop |
| Extra Grab | Perform an additional card grab |
| Upgrade Orb | Improve a card's condition |
| Swap Orb | Change eligible card attributes |
| Bandage | Heal an injured worker |
▸ Different types of items:
- Consumables: Items that are used up when activated.
- Customization items: Resources used to personalize your cards.
- Upgrade materials: Items used to improve eligible cards.
- Other resources: Items associated with additional Karuta activities.
Some items are used automatically during certain actions, while others require a specific command or interaction. We'll explain how to use individual items in their relevant guides.

05 Keeping Track Of Your Resources
Unlike your card collection, which supports sorting and tagging, inventory management is primarily about understanding what you own and how you intend to use it.
▸ Helpful habits:
- Check your inventory regularly using
ki. - Keep a few Extra Drops or Extra Grabs for valuable opportunities.
- Save Upgrade Orbs until you're ready to improve important cards.
- Review your item quantities before agreeing to trades.
- Avoid using unfamiliar items before understanding their purpose.
- Compare shop prices with player trading prices when appropriate.
Some items may be more valuable in player-to-player trades than they initially appear. Research their current demand before using or selling them.
